The way, the truth,the life
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

The Way, the Truth, the Life, the Victory

As the King of Kings was questioned by Pilate long ago
He declared His kingdom different not of this world
A kingdom for the side of truth like none has ever been
Pilate asked, What is truth?
He was standing right in front of him

Truth was standing right in front of him
As plain as anything could ever be
Truth was standing right in front of him
He was standing there for all the world to see
The Way, The Truth, the Life, the Victory

Stephen, first beloved martyr, gave up his life for Him
Being stoned by angry people filled with revenge
Where was God when all this happened?
Stephen looked into the sky, he was never alone
God was standing right in front of him

Truth was standing right in front of him
As plain as anything could ever be
Truth was standing right in front of him
Revealed to him for comfort and to see
He was standing there for his delivery

Now the quest for truth continues until this very day
But the source that we should seek is not of this world
A truth that is revealed by God, the Spirit's made it clear
If you ask what is truth? He is standing right in front of you

Truth is standing right in front of you
As plain as anything could ever be
Truth is standing right in front of you
Standing there for all eternity
The Way, the Truth, the Life, the Victory

He is standing right in front of you
Showing love for open eyes to see
Jesus is standing right in front of you
Standing there for He will always be
The Son of Man, the Son of God
The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords
The Way, the Truth, the Life, the Victory

The love of God
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

1. The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.

Refrain
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

2. When hoary time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

My race
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

There are many, many names for the races out there,
Beaners, The "N" word, cracker chink. There's so many names I can't think.
The power of mind and energy of soul can form and make us whole.
When you think we're all the same.
Though our color of skin ain't the same.
We all have the power to change, The power to be sane.
The bloods, The crips, BK and more.
Why do we fight, why did we declare war? Please just try to change!

ME:This is a different poem, but I thought since they were the same topic that they'd be on the same deal.

A black man walked in a bar and a white man said to him,
"COLORED PEOPLE AREN'T ALLOWED IN HERE!!!"
The black man just turned around and said,
"I may be black, but you sir,
When you were born you were pink,
When you get sick you turn green,
When you stay in the sun you are red,
When you die you are purple, So how dare you call me colored?!"

Racism hurts them whom the cap fits
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

If from the innocence of the soul of
Poetry a hate filled parasite called racism
You don’t dredge
Between the white man and the black man
Inseparable wedge
Cacophony of disgruntled sounds
In an auction like environment
Of morality under the hammer
Going over the edge
Even those who were friends
Who once taught you to fly and fledge
Now a coven of witch like foes
Wizards of Oz boulders sledge
Love poetry Hate racism
My solemn poetic pledge
the gateway to supreme Knowledge
Racism hurts them
Whom the cap fits
A truth that need not
Tell lies or allege
A bet you don’t
Need to hedge
Black and White
bound by a single color red
bleeding on the soul of humanity
that the racist fiend
wont acknowledge

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Mugabe hit hard on the two world s leaders namely Bush and Blair .they are racists. In USA the majority of the population there is white and yet the blacks are the ones who are with the greatest proportion in the jails of USA. Why?

African Nationalism

Political movement for the unification of Africa (Pan-Africanism) and for national self-determination. Early African political organizations included the Aborigines Rights Protection Society in the Gold Coast in 1897, the African National Congress in South Africa in 1912, and the National Congress of West Africa in 1920.

African nationalism has its roots among the educated elite (mainly ‘returned’ Americans of African descent and freed slaves or their descendants) in West Africa in the 19th century. Christian mission-educated, many challenged overseas mission control and founded independent churches. These were often involved in anticolonial rebellions; for example, in Natal in 1906 and Nyasaland in 1915. The Kitwala (Watchtower Movement) and Kimbanguist churches provided strong support for the nationalist cause in the 1950s.

After World War I nationalists fostered moves for self-determination. The Fourteen Points of US president Woodrow Wilson encouraged such demands in Tunisia, and delegates to London in 1919 from the Native National Congress in South Africa stressed the contribution to the war effort by the South African Native Labour Corps. Most nationalist groups functioned within the territorial boundaries of single colonies; for example, the Tanganyika African Association and the Rhodesian Bantu Voters Association. One or two groups, including the National Congress of British West Africa, had wider pan-African visions.

By 1939 African nationalist groups existed in nearly every territory of the continent. Africa's direct involvement in World War II, the weakening of the principal colonial powers, increasing anticolonialism from America (the Atlantic Charter in 1941 encouraged self-government), and Soviet criticism of imperialism inspired African nationalists.

Land of Zimbabwe

O lift high the banner, the flag of Zimbabwe

The symbol of freedom proclaiming victory;

We praise our heros' sacrifice,

And vow to keep our land from foes;

And may the Almighty protect and bless our land.

O lovely Zimbabwe, so wondrously adorned

With mountains, and rivers cascading, flowing free;

May rain abound, and fertile fields;

May we be fed, our labour blessed;

And may the Almighty protect and bless our land.

O God, we beseech Thee to bless our native land;

The land of our fathers bestowed upon us all;

From Zambezi to Limpopo

May leaders be exemplary;

And may the Almighty protect and bless our land.
